Hey all, we’ve got a remix opportunity that many of you might be interested in!
In patnership with Ohm Force we’d like to announce the launch of the “Retrofox – Bubblegum” remix contest.
You will find stems here from the original track (tempo 130BPM), which received great support from top DJs ( including Dubfire). We’re looking for interesting remixes across the full genre spectrum – don’t feel like you need to stick to House only. Surprise us with an interesting twist that still reflects/compliments the original!
As part of the remix rules, you must use at least one of the following Ohm Force plugins in your remix.

Note: These demos work for seven hours, so it’s advisable to create the majority of your remix before starting to play with the plug-ins (for example: starting with the arrangement, then using the plug-ins during the mixing).
PRIZE:
1.the top 3 remixes (all styles) will be selected by Public Records and Retrofox and we’ll offer the remixers the option to release on the remixes EP on Public Records.
2. Our top remixer will win 5 Loopmasters artist series DVDs of their choice, 2 for our second favourite, and 1 for our 3rd favourite remix.
3. Ohm Force will offer an ALL-ALL Bundle for the big winner, an ALL-Live Bundle to the second place, and a “Quad Frohmage + Hematohm + OhmBoyz” pack for the 3rd place.
Ohm Force have also kindly given us a special discount code for all of you. Just use the “LOOHMPMASTERS” coupon code (without the commas) to get a 25% discount on any individual plug-in or bundle. Just copy the code into the coupon field when checking out of the Ohm Force shop.
We’re expecting some great remixes as we’ll be promoting this through all of our channels and Ohm Force are doing the same. They’ll also be including the stems in their ground-breaking new collaborative DAW Ohm Studio, which is currently in Beta (Beta-test is Mac only, the Windows version is in the oven). As an added plus – everyone interested in participating in the remix as a collaborative team will be given access to the Ohm Studio Beta! (remember currently it’s Mac only)
If you’d like to participate using Ohm Studio, simply contact Ohm Force indicating that you would like to participate in the Retrofox Remix Contest as a team, and they will take it from there.
SUBMITTNG YOUR REMIX: just upload to the Public Records Drop Box. BE SURE TO INCLUDE “RETROFOX REMIX” in the title of your upload, and BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL in the comments field when you upload, so we can contact you. (Once you upload, you’ll get a confirmation email from Soundcloud asking if you want to submit it to us – if you don’t see this, check your junk mail)
