Natalie Willard, aka L-Plates was Born in Thornton Heath London and has grown up on the South Coast. She’s been in the Art industry since 1996, creating portrait sculptures and painting, whilst always carrying the passion for music and using it to influence her Art – be it Jazz, Funk, World, Dubstep, Minimal D&B and hugely Ol’skool D&B.
She’s been massively influenced by the likes of LTJ Bukem, DJ Cam, Danny Byrd, Royalston and Electrolyte and her Big Bro.
She currently works full time for a music media company, and in her spare time has recently ventured into creating her own tunes – hence the name L-Plates. This is now her new Canvas!
“Bhavana Rain” is a clear call-back to the influences of deep, liquid drum and bass, with a great hook. If the likes of Good Lookin’ Records, Peshay and Bukem and Goldie excite your ears, we are sure you will enjoy this track.
